About the artwork:
It was morning here in Joensuu, Finland. I looked out my window and noticed the mist concealing the distant parts of the city. I knew I had to make the most of it. I grabbed my camera and headed out to my favourite local spot “Kuhasalo”, where the mist was turning the visible into the unknown.
Once I arrived at the lake, I strolled along the shore until I reached this view of the island. It appeared different this time, quiet and mysterious. The water was still and the atmosphere silent. I set up my tripod and camera in front of some rocks, each rock leading the eye closer and closer to the island. There were some ducks nearby. One of them strayed from the rest, and started swimming closer to where I was. I took the photo right after the duck swam into frame. It was perfect. The mist eventually faded and the day woke up from its dream. It was then that I returned to town. All was clear again.

I am able to deliver them by hand in the Joensuu area, otherwise they are sent via post in durable cardboard mailers.

I am currently using an invoicing company for my invoices, so payments will be made through them.

Exact measurements are not guaranteed as each print is individually made, but I do make great effort to ensure that measurements are correct. Images shown on screen do not completely represent the printed image. All copyrights are reserved to the artist (Jason Tiilikainen), and he reserves the right to reproduce these images for promotional materials and other purposes, as well as use the images on social media and other websites. Refunds are only given if prints are damaged on arrival and if the damage is reported within 14 days after delivery. You may be charged customs duties and taxes for the print.
